Your pass certificate is valid for 2 years from the date you passed. You must pass your motorcycle practical test (Module 1 and Module 2) within this 2-year window. If you don't, you'll need to retake the theory test.

The test covers: hazard awareness and perception, motorcycle safety and equipment, road positioning and junctions, weather and night riding, attitude and safe riding, the Highway Code, road signs and markings, and rules for vulnerable road users. Our practice tests above cover all of these topics.

Yes. You can take the motorcycle theory test before or after your CBT (Compulsory Basic Training). However, you need a provisional motorcycle licence to book either. You must pass both your theory test and CBT before you can book your practical test modules.

If you fail, you must wait at least 3 working days before retaking the test. There is no limit on the number of attempts, but you must pay the £23 fee each time. Use our practice tests above to identify your weak areas before retaking.
