GUIDE
What to Bring to the Theory Test
Bring the correct licence documentation or your test can be cancelled.
Great Britain
You must take your UK photocard driving licence. If you have a Northern Ireland licence, GOV.UK says to bring the photocard and paper counterpart. If you hold a paper licence, bring a valid passport as well.
Name changes and lost licences
If your name changed after booking, bring appropriate proof of the name change or follow the official rebooking guidance. If your licence is lost, arrange a replacement and move the test if it will not arrive in time.
