Change or Cancel a Theory Test
Know the notice period before moving or cancelling your appointment.
The key rule
In Great Britain you normally need to give at least 3 full working days’ notice to change or cancel without having to pay again. Monday to Saturday count as working days; Sundays and public holidays do not.
Short-notice exceptions
GOV.UK lists limited circumstances where a refund may be available after unavoidable short-notice cancellation or change, such as illness/injury, bereavement, certain exams or a stolen licence, with evidence required.
