A developing hazard is something that would cause you to take action, such as changing speed or direction. A parked car by itself may be only a potential hazard; when it signals and begins to move into your path, it becomes a developing hazard.
You can score up to 5 points for each developing hazard. Earlier correct recognition scores more highly. There is no penalty simply for an incorrect click, but continuous or patterned clicking can result in no score for that clip.
